New Improved Stats Panel and More!

It's been a busy week here in the SPM Studio! I'm excited to unveil our new, bolder look! The site now has more vivid colors, makes better use of screen space, and looks better on small devices!

There are two new features that are most important in this update:

First up is a new feature especially for students who work with more than one teacher. It's now possible for a student to register with multiple teachers. This was requested by some of our college studio teachers who have graduate assistants, but could also be handy in many other situations!

The other new feature will be immediately noticeable to users of the Structured Practice Method. The stats panel, which shows information about how often and how much time you've been practicing, has been completely renovated! Here's a screen shot of the old version:
And now, the new version!
As you can see, the new version is much cooler! But the changes are not just cosmetic. This new stats panel incorporates practice goals. Just visit the Account --> Personal Settings page to set up how many minutes you would like to practice every day, and the stats panel will show you instantly how far along you are at any given moment (time stats show up once you've practiced for at least 5 minutes).

If you're not interested in these stats, it's now possible to disable the stats panel from the settings page. I've also added the Stats Panel to the bottom right of all practice pages, so you can keep track of where you stand without having to exit to the main page.

In addition to the two main changes, I've done some redesign work to the manage music page, making it much more user friendly. Input forms have been improved throughout the application, adding searchable dropdown items and other niceties. And, of course, this update includes a few minor bug fixes and "under the hood" improvements.

I hope you like the new look and features! Let us know what you think in the comments!!

See you in the practice room!
